Tips, Recipes and Tricks That Make Your Next Picnic Perfect

Picnic is an idea to enjoy, refresh, learn and spent some quality time together with the loved ones. If planned a little, it could give happiness and contentment to the moon and revive people with a new power and energy.

What Is Picnic: A Picnic is an outing where people carry their food with them and they share it happily in the open air together. People plan their picnic normally at a place close to nature like in a beautiful park, beside a lake etc. This picnic could be of two types: family picnic and romantic picnic.

Tips to make a perfect picnic: It is always preferable to plan a picnic when it’s a sunny day. Be alert to the weather forecast. Check it in advance and must have a backup plan if change in weather is expected like an umbrella for rain and hat for a sunny day which is very helpful during the picnic time. It’s always a better option to decide the location in advance. To make a picnic perfect one should make a checklist for the things important to carry along.

Recipes that can make a perfect picnic: It is always wise to take those meals in a picnic that creates less mess. Here are few of them which can make a picnic meal healthy, yummy and less messy too.

Sandwiches: They are very much liked by everyone including adult or kids. It’s quite easy to make a cheese sandwich while packing for a picnic just by taking two slices of bread, coating thick butter on it so that the slice could not dry. Spread a thin layer of salad cream to add a little more taste to it. Spread sliced tomatoes thinly over one slice. On the top of sliced tomatoes put a thick layer of cheese and again more sliced tomatoes on the cheese. Now lay the other slice of bread on the tomatoes careful and cut the sandwich into triangles. Wrap it in a foil.

Sprouted Bhels: They are very easy to make and full of nutrition. Just take some sprouted cereals with you. While want to eat cut some onions, tomatoes, green chili, coriander. Add some salt and pepper squeeze few drops of lemon and cherish the snack.

Soups:  It’s very easy to make as well healthy to take along. For example if we are taking with us a vegetable soup then just wash and cut vegetables in big slices and boil them up. When they are Luke-warm grind them in the grinder and add some ginger garlic paste with some salt and pepper. Cherish it when you want.

Apart from this there are also other snacks like cakes, cookies, chips and sweets that you can take with you when you plan a picnic. Apart from them fruit juices, coffee, tea and lemon drink also play an important part to keep refresh during picnic. Going for a picnic is a real fun.


I remember as a child my parents would take us out on the weekend – it could be a Saturday or a Sunday afternoon, depending upon my parents’ schedule and it would be so much fun. We would perhaps go with family friends who also had kids my age or at times just make it a family affair. Some memories live strong, even though decades have passed.
